Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 September 2026
Welcome to Keeli.
These Terms of Use apply when you use the Keeli website and services. Keeli provides a platform that helps boat owners connect with marine professionals for marine-related work and services.
By using Keeli, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the service.
1. About Keeli
Keeli helps boat owners find and connect with marine professionals who may be able to carry out work on their boats.
Boat owners can submit details of work they require and marine professionals may provide quotes or express an interest in carrying out that work.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Keeli does not itself provide marine repair, maintenance, engineering or other marine trade services.
2. Keeli’s role
Keeli acts as a platform connecting boat owners with independent marine professionals.
Marine professionals using Keeli are independent businesses or individuals and are not employees, agents or representatives of Keeli.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, any agreement for work is made directly between the boat owner and the chosen marine professional.
The marine professional is responsible for the work they agree to undertake, including its quality, safety, timing, pricing and compliance with applicable laws and professional requirements.
3. Quotes and choosing a professional
Quotes provided through Keeli are supplied by the relevant marine professional.
Boat owners are responsible for reviewing the information and quotes provided and deciding which, if any, marine professional they wish to engage.
Unless Keeli specifically states that a particular check or verification has been carried out, the presence of a marine professional on Keeli should not be interpreted as a guarantee, certification or endorsement of that professional.
Boat owners should make any checks they consider appropriate before instructing a professional to undertake work.
4. Prices and payment
Unless otherwise stated, prices and estimates displayed or communicated through Keeli are provided by the relevant marine professional.
During the current Keeli service, final arrangements regarding the scope of work, price, payment terms and payment are agreed directly between the boat owner and marine professional.
Keeli is not responsible for collecting or holding payment for work unless explicitly stated otherwise.
5. Information you provide
You agree to provide information that is reasonably accurate and not deliberately misleading when using Keeli.
This includes information about boats, requested work, businesses, services, qualifications, experience, availability and contact information where applicable.
You must not use Keeli to submit unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or deliberately misleading content.
6. Marine professionals
Marine professionals are responsible for ensuring that information they provide about their business, services, experience, qualifications, insurance, availability and pricing is accurate and kept reasonably up to date.
Marine professionals are responsible for determining whether they have the appropriate skills, experience, equipment, insurance and any necessary qualifications or permissions to undertake a particular job.
7. Reviews and service records
Keeli may allow users to provide reviews, feedback or information about completed work.
Reviews and feedback should reflect genuine experiences and must not contain knowingly false, unlawful, abusive or defamatory material.
Keeli may also allow completed work to form part of a boat’s digital service or maintenance record. Such records are intended to help users organise information about their boat and should not be treated as a substitute for professional inspection, maintenance documentation or safety advice where these are required.
8. Vessel information and future features
Keeli may provide features designed to help owners organise vessel information, maintenance history, documents, reminders or information relating to the condition of their boat.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, such information is provided as an organisational and informational aid and does not constitute a professional survey, engineering assessment, safety certification or guarantee of a vessel’s condition.
Boat owners remain responsible for appropriate inspection, maintenance and safe operation of their vessel.
9. Availability of Keeli
We aim to keep Keeli available and functioning reliably, but we cannot guarantee that the website or service will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
We may change, improve, suspend or discontinue parts of the service where reasonably necessary.
10. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Keeli or attempt to interfere with its operation or security.
You must not use Keeli for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, impersonate another person or business, knowingly provide false information, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access to the service, or use the platform in a way that could harm Keeli or its users.
We may restrict or remove access to Keeli where we reasonably believe the service is being misused.
11. Intellectual property
The Keeli name, branding, website design, content and other materials created by Keeli are owned by or licensed to Keeli unless otherwise stated.
You may use the website for its intended purpose, but you must not copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit Keeli’s content or branding without permission, except where permitted by law.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the extent permitted by law, Keeli is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent marine professionals or for losses arising solely from an agreement entered into directly between a boat owner and a marine professional.
Keeli does not guarantee that a marine professional will accept a job, that a boat owner will accept a quote, or that work arranged between users will meet a particular outcome.
Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
13. Privacy
Personal information collected through Keeli is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Please read the Keeli Privacy Policy for information about what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how it is used.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms of Use as Keeli develops or where changes are required for legal, regulatory or operational reasons.
The latest version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be changed accordingly.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the mandatory laws applicable where you live.
